Ehsan Saboori, Ph.D.

Ehsan is a passionate entrepreneur and technologist whose research formed the technology vision that is the core of Deeplite. A published Ph.D., he combines years of industry experience, a strong team and cutting-edge research to create lightweight intelligence.

Jeff McMullen, CPA

A financial executive with global experience as a private and public company CFO from start-up through scale and exit. Member of a team that scaled an enterprise software company from $10M to $100M + per year Combines excellent strategic, governance, financial, reporting, SaaS and M&A expertise.

Sudhakar Sah, Ph.D.

Sudhakar has experience working in a wide range of technologies essential for Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions like Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Parallel Computing & Speed Optimization, to name a few.

In the past, Sudhakar has worked extensively on developing and deploying small models for computer vision applications for a conglomerate like Samsung in Korea to a startup like EyeEm in Berlin.

His passion for lightweight deep learning models brought him to Deeplite. Having stayed in Seoul for about a decade, he can speak Korean and has extensive experience and understanding of the Korean work culture. With a Ph.D. in computer science and an Executive MBA in General Management, Sudhakar has a keen interest in technology and the business impact of the same.

Marjorie Desriac - Talent Lead

Darshan Ganji - Deep Learning Engineer

Darshan is from Bangalore, India. He got his Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Acharya Institute of Technology, India. He has two years of experience working in Edge AI and Deep learning Hardware. His previous work includes designing Hardware Accelerators for CNNs on FPGA, Edge Deployment of Deep learning models on GPUs, FPGAs and Microcontrollers, supporting various DL framework parsers for Compiler. His passion lies in Accelerating Deep Learning Computing. He loves playing chess, watching cricket and football, meditate and listening to EDM music.

Alexander Hoffman - Deep Learning Engineer

Hailing from the Pacific Northwest of the USA, Alex studied electrical engineering at the University of Washington. After designing and building Mars rovers with the school’s robotics team, he decided to transition to the AI world with a Master’s degree at McGill University. He joined Deeplite after completing his thesis on automatic compression methods for Transformer models. A curious engineer at heart, he enjoys the exciting research and challenging software development problems at Deeplite.

Outside of work Alex enjoys long runs in the woods, climbing sessions at Allez Up, and sunny days on the ski slopes.

Ivan Lazarevich - Deep Learning Engineer

Ivan holds a PhD from École normale supérieure in Paris, where his work focused on using machine learning for the diagnosis of early-stage neurodegenerative diseases. Prior to joining Deeplite, Ivan has worked as a deep learning engineer at Intel in the OpenVINO team and as a software engineer in the field of computational physics.

Ravish is very fond of the technology of deep-learning and artificial intelligence, and that’s
why he loves to teach these tech-stacks as a personal hobby. He wants to see AI, IoT, and
Blockchain combined in a single domain as a secret desire.  

Matteo received a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2021, exploring novel compression techniques to deploy deep neural networks on resource-constrained devices. He is truly passionate about the design of efficient AI applications to concretely improve people’s lives. For this reason, he joined Deeplite to tackle the compelling edge AI challenge. Sport is his primary way to spend his free time: football and trail running are his favorite activities.
